AlarmWare

AlarmWare is a surveillance system, that turns any PC into a real central security system. While many other common security systems just register a burglary and produce noise, AlarmWare allows you to create alarm maps (”alarm tables”), which you can adjust to your very own demands. In case of a break in AlarmWare is able to contact you, a neighbour, a security service or who ever you wish via GSM mobile telephone, fax or e-mail.

AlarmWare is as much as alerted as you want it to be. By setting up the alarm maps you can create either simple or more complex alarm groups. The alarm groups could determine for example if your PC considers a broken window or a broken window and movement in the house as a potential break in and thus starts the alarm procedure. If for example there is only a broken window, AlarmWare can contact a glas repair service without starting the actual alarm procedure.

In order to turn your computer into a central security system simply install the detectors and connect them to your PC. The next step will be to create an AlarmWare recipient list and alarm map with Microsoft Mail or Microsoft Exchange.

How this works and how you can extend your AlarmWare security system is explained in the comprehensive printed manual that comes with your AlarmWare product. The manual explains the setup of the detectors and the installation of the software in great detail.

Please keep in mind that even the best security system can not prevent burglars from breaking into your home. A security system is used for detering and registering a break in and with AlarmWare even notifying other people. We think it is important that besides using AlarmWare you should make use of security locks and other mechanical security devices. Your local police station also informs you on how to secure your house and property.
