DicomWebView

DicomWebView brings your DICOM-Data to the web. DicomWebView is a server system which enables your physicians to access your DICOM-PACS with only a web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer). DicomWebView queries the PACS-System when studies are requested, compresses them and sends them out to the Browser. Compressed files will be stored into DicomWebView's movie cache for quicker delivery when requested again. 

Because of using the Microsoft compression technology (WMV) the DICOM files becomes very small but still have high quality. See here some examples (Media Player 9 required):

You see even with full edge enhancement placed on the image the compression ratio is still over 50%.
